About the Author

Roger Bartlett was Professor of Sports Biomechanics in the School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Sciences, University of Otago, New Zealand until he retired in August 2013; he formerly held professorships at Manchester Metropolitan University, Staffordshire University and Sheffield Hallam University, all in the UK. He is an Invited Fellow of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS) and an Honorary Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, of which he was Chairman from 1991-1994. He is a former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sports Sciences and Sports Biomechanics. He is co-author of Sports Biomechanics: Reducing Injury Risk and Improving Sports Performance and co-editor of several other sports science books.

J. Mark Thompson is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Training and Supervising Analyst at The New Center for Psychoanalysis. The concept of storytelling in couples is very well explained. The examples from couple therapy sessions are excellent re: the impact of stories on how couples relate, and how these stories create faulty expectations of each other.
This is a valuable book for couple therapists.

Wibbeke is breaking new grounds in multicultural leadership addressing the American leaders posted abroad in the Globalization era. i liked the book and wait for the new version. It adds to this library new insights: the 7 Cs (pun intended or unintended) "care, capabilitity, change, contrast, context, conscientiousness, communication". with many interviews to top executives in the field.
